High-Tech Soldering Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced soldering specialist to operate the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production line, ensuring high-quality products are produced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the SMT production line with precision and accuracy
  • Soldering to IPC Standard (through hole soldering)
  • Operate the Selective Soldering Machine and automated optical inspection machine (AOI machine)
  • General PCB assembly work, including quality inspection and rework
  • Replenish supplies and components and perform job changeovers in a timely manner
  • Modify machine programs as required
  • Log the time taken for tasks against jobs
  • Routine cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Recognised Tertiary Qualification in Electronics/Electrotechnology Engineering
  • Experience with SMT or AOI production equipment (preferably YAMAHA)
  • At least 1+ years of experience in Electronics manufacturing industry
  • Strong eye-hand coordination, vision, and manual dexterity
  • Trained in ESD safety and IPC-A-610 standards
