About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide support and care to individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support clients in achieving their goals and promoting independence and autonomy.
  2. Assist with daily living activities such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming.
  3. Offer transportation assistance and facilitate participation in community activities.
  4. Provide respite care and offer relief and support to clients and their families.
  5. Offer overnight/sleepover care and provide a safe and supportive environment.
  6. Assist with medication administration in accordance with policies.
  7. Maintain accurate records of client care plans and progress.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support or higher.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Access to ongoing training opportunities.
