Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment at our sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic handyman maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Carry out regular maintenance of various types of kitchen equipment to prevent downtime
  • Conduct all basic unregulated plumbing, AC and refrigerated maintenance to guarantee efficiency
  • Organise contractors to maintain fire protection systems
  • Assist contractors when required for air conditioning, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, plumbing, etc. to achieve team goals
  • Manage stock levels in areas of responsibility and ensure timely completion of work orders generated by Maximo

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar maintenance role
  • Basic knowledge of facilities plant & equipment to perform routine tasks
  • Availability to work 5 days a week and on call in weekends if required
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively
  • Hold a certificate in engineering, building or equivalent related trade
  • EWP and Forklift License is highly desirable
