Operational Risk Management Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Operational Risk Management Analyst to support the delivery of our risk management framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring risks are appropriately managed and processes meet applicable risk management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop and maintain effective risk management processes, controls, and procedures to minimize exposure to operational risks.
  • Collaborate with business units and functions to provide expert advice on risk management practices and develop strategies to strengthen our operational risk management framework.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills in risk management, control self-assessment, and issue/ incident management.
  • Prepare risk reports, recommendations, and presentations for senior management and committees.
  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Risk Management Team as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in an operational risk or audit function within financial services, with exposure to relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with ability to interpret complex data and drive process improvements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
