Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC) Nurse Position

The Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic mental health environment.

This rewarding role requires the successful candidate to deliver exceptional patient care, engage with patients to enhance service delivery, and work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care at a post-graduate level, prioritizing patient needs and safety
  • Proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and guide others in providing excellent care
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, applying professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant governing body
  • Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to identify key messages, issues, and concerns when communicating with others
