Early Childhood Educator Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood professional to join our team as an Assistant Educator. This is a part-time role, working 15 hours per week, offering a unique opportunity to build and maintain a high-quality learning environment for young children.

About the Role

This position involves working collaboratively with a team of experienced educators to deliver engaging and educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 0-5 years. As an Assistant Educator, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in early childhood education, while contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and respectful team culture
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Children's Services. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate are also essential requirements.
