
Developmental Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team in delivering early childhood services. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position based in Bendigo.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in early childhood early intervention best practice approaches and passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of families with children who have developmental concerns, delays or disabilities.
In this rewarding role, you will:
- Work collaboratively with families to ensure access to information, linkages and capacity building to enable their children with developmental concerns, delays or disabilities to fully participate in their communities.
- Implement the NDIS Early Childhood Approach to support children under nine years of age who have a developmental delay or disability, and their families/carers.
- Support families to facilitate access to the most appropriate early intervention pathway, including community supports and accessing the NDIS.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, community organisations, clinical services and education settings.

- Relevant qualifications and experience in early childhood or a related field.
