We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Therapy Manager to join our team at Icon Cancer Centre in Melbourne. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and operational management of our Radiation Therapy department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and management to the Radiation Therapist team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of service and patient experience, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage the operational and administrative functions of the department, including staffing, equipment, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Icon's policies, procedures, and standards, as well as relevant legislation and regulations.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in Radiation Therapy and leadership. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a strong understanding of radiation therapy principles and practices, as well as experience in managing clinical teams and services.
Requirements- Undergraduate or postgraduate tertiary qualification in Radiation Therapy.
- Current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA).
- Valid Radiation Use License in Victoria.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Radiation Therapy, with at least 2 years' experience in a leadership or management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of radiation therapy principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
