Radiation Therapy Team Leader

Icon Group is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapy Manager to lead our Radiation Therapy team at our Cancer Centre in Melbourne. As a Radiation Therapy Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Radiation Therapy service, providing technical supervision, education, and development for our Radiation Therapists. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide effective leadership and management to the Radiation Therapist team.
• Establish and maintain the highest standards and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience.
• Ensure suitable training and support services are effectively provided to the Radiation Therapists.
• Apply effective resource and workflow management strategies to optimise quality and efficiency and productivity.
• Exhibit strong decision-making abilities.
• Maintain good working relationships with internal and external clients.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Radiation Therapy Manager who can lead our team to deliver high-quality patient care and exceptional service. You will have a strong background in Radiation Therapy and experience in managing a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills. You will be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and committed to ongoing professional development. Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory:
• Undergraduate or Post-Graduate tertiary qualification in Radiation Therapy
• Current registration with MRPBA (AHPRA)
• Valid Radiation Use License in Victoria
Desired:
• Member of relevant professional bodies (e.g., ESTRO, ASTRO, ASMIRT, TROG, etc)
• Post-graduate Health/Management/Leadership qualification, or working towards
