Radiation Therapy Department Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Therapy Manager to join our team at Icon Cancer Centre in Melbourne. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and operational management of our Radiation Therapy department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and management to the Radiation Therapist team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of service and patient experience, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage the operational and administrative functions of the department, including staffing, equipment, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in Radiation Therapy and leadership. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and services, and a strong commitment to excellence and innovation.
You will be a natural leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families. You will also have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements- Undergraduate or Post-Graduate tertiary qualification in Radiation Therapy.
- Current registration with MRPBA (AHPRA).
- Valid Radiation Use License in Victoria.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Radiation Therapy, with a strong background in leadership and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including regulatory requirements and industry standards.
