About the Job

The role of Senior Project Officer is a key position within an organisation responsible for delivering educational programs and initiatives. This involves working closely with stakeholders to support project delivery and outcomes, while also planning, delivering and monitoring project tasks independently and proactively.

Key responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes, preparing and maintaining project documentation for diverse audiences, and undertaking administrative and coordination tasks following project methodology. Additionally, maintaining and using databases to support reporting, monitoring, and evaluation, responding to student and provider enquiries, drafting correspondence, and executive briefings are essential duties.

Requirements and Skills
  • Able to obtain Baseline Clearance and undergo Police check
  • Proven experience coordinating projects and monitoring progress
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work flexibly
  • Ability to make sound decisions with autonomy for moderately complex tasks
  • Experience supervising staff and managing team workflow
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
