We are seeking a skilled APS4 Planner to join our major Federal Government program. This role involves supporting participants to manage their plans effectively and ensure funding decisions align with policy and legislation.

Job Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyse participant records using relevant policy, guidelines, and legislation to make informed funding decisions.
  • Work closely with participants and their representatives via phone to understand current circumstances and spending patterns.
  • Maintain high-quality records in line with process guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Research and review decisions, managing moderately complex cases with guidance from senior staff.
  • Complete administrative and data entry tasks accurately and within set timeframes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage sensitive or difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Solid IT skills, including data entry and analysis.
  • Strong time management and workload prioritisation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Capacity to manage multiple participant records simultaneously.
