Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Planner to contribute to our business goals. The successful candidate will provide professional planning and resource management advice in statutory and strategic planning.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Project management with planning, programming and coordination of projects to meet or exceed agreed goals.
  • Develop project plans and strategies for the completion of major projects including identification of business resource requirements.
  • Manage or assist with the preparation of strategies, reports, environmental impact assessments and other planning documentation and submissions on behalf of clients.
  • Technical and quality reviews of documentation prepared by the planning team to ensure that documentation and service levels meet client's expectations.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or Architecture/Urban Design or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in urban planning research, data analysis and report writing.
  • Extensive experience in statutory or strategic planning, preferably within NSW.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with the team, managers and clients.
