Job Title: APS 4 Level Planner

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate planner to support participants in managing their plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse participant records using policy, guidelines, and legislation to inform funding decisions.
  • Work with participants and their representatives via phone to understand current circumstances and spending patterns.
  • Maintain high-quality records in line with process guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Research and review decisions, managing moderately complex cases with guidance from senior staff.
  • Complete administrative and data entry tasks accurately and within set timeframes.
About You
  • Bring strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive or difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Solid IT skills, including data entry and analysis.
  • Strong time management and workload prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Capacity to manage multiple participant records simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Eligibility criteria include being an Australian Citizen and obtaining and maintaining a National Criminal History Check and other background checks as required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, case management, or a related field.
