About the Role

This is a Data Business Analyst position with MinterEllison, one of Australia's largest law firms. We're known for our legal and consulting expertise, as well as our inclusive and authentic character. Key Responsibilities

  • Apply business analysis skills to analyze, evaluate, document, and implement business processes and practices for data management, data governance, and service management solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify and document business data requirements.
  • Accountable for investigative and analysis work to determine data business requirements and specify effective business-related data processes.
  • Ensure timely escalation of issues and risks, and project change requests to Project Manager and Business Analysis Lead.
  • Support decision-making process based on professional judgement, and evaluated risks.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in Information Technology, IT Data Management, Data Science, or Computer Science, or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience as a Data Business Analyst for large organizations.
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing multiple data points or data sources and producing a concise and clear analysis outcome.
  • Ability to select, adopt, and adapt appropriate business analysis methods, tools, and techniques, in an ambiguous environment with diverse business perspectives.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and business teams.
