Clinical Community Health Specialist

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Community Health Specialists to provide high-quality patient care and promote health education within the community.

The primary focus of this role will be on delivering child health, school health, and immunization services to the residents of Carnarvon and the Gascoyne district.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To apply primary health care principles in practice relevant to the Community Health setting.
  • To develop and implement health promotion programs to improve the well-being of the community.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • To provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Community nursing and post-graduate qualifications or working towards one.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of delivering health promotion programs.
  • Effective verbal and written skills, especially advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
