This is a Recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time or Casual, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse's to join the Community Health team based in Carnarvon, Midwest region.

To Be Successful, You Will Have

• Ability to apply primary health care principles in practice relevant to the Community Health setting.
• Experience in Community nursing and post graduate qualifications or working towards one.
• Demonstrated knowledge of delivering health promotion programs.
• Effective verbal and written skills, especially advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Position Profile: This position provides child health, school health and immunisation services to Carnarvon and the Gascoyne district.

This is an "open-ended" recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted:

• The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis.
• Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made, similar vacancies may be offered for sites throughout the Midwest region.

The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at eligible locations. Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months. The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Midwest health region of Western Australia covers more than 470,000 square kilometres, nearly one fifth of the State, with its population concentrated along the coast. The region is located in the northern middle section of Western Australia and incorporates three health districts - Gascoyne, Geraldton, Midwest and Murchison, is recognised for its unique natural environment and is a culturally diverse region with Aboriginal people representing 13% of the overall population.
