Salary

$83,000 - $100,000 per annum (0.9 FTE), HPSS Level 3 plus Super, leave loading at 17.5%, salary packaging options (up to $15,899 tax-free), meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650.

Job Description

The Clinical Care Coordinator will contribute to the multidisciplinary consortia team delivering psychological and psychosocial services for children and youth. The role focuses on early intervention and support of young people up to the age of 25.

The successful candidate will address service gaps for the 'missing middle' by enhancing accessibility and integrating primary mental health care, psychosocial support, and early intervention. They will promote holistic wellbeing by considering broader determinants of health, fostering collaboration among providers, and ensuring a sustainable, adaptable service responsive to community needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker.
  • Knowledge & understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions & clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in the practical application of such, in the areas of mental health and alcohol and drug use.
  • Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, families & friends and stakeholders.
