Project Lead Engineer

Lead project execution from contract award to delivery and installation of engineering services.

  • Develop, execute, monitor, and adjust project plans, work scopes, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical expertise to personnel on design, fabrication, construction, maintenance, and integrity of piping systems and infrastructure.
  • Compile technical information and drawings for work packs, complete verification of shop detail drawings against client-issue AFCs.
  • Develop MTOs with understanding of material grades and schedules.
  • Manage procurement activities and subcontractors within project timelines and specifications.
  • Project reporting, forecasting, and costing.
  • Project close-out activities including punch listing, compiling QA records, and MDRs.
Essential Skills:
  • 3+ years experience in multi-disciplinary project team in the energy sector.
  • Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and P&ID.
  • Knowledge of offshore project lifecycle, FEED to decommissioning.
  • Knowledge of fabrication, welding, and engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of project administration principles and processes.
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Autocad, Navisworks, Solidworks, Primavera P6.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes.
