Job Title: Transaction Operations Specialist

This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage day-to-day operations with accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include processing domestic and international payments, transaction allocations, narrations, rejections, daily reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records.

About the Role:

The Transaction Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of payment activities, fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors, and contributing to process improvement and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process domestic and international payments, direct debits, BPAY, and third-party transfers.
  • Perform transaction allocations, update narrations, and manage rejections.
  • Conduct daily reconciliations between internal systems and external bank records.
  • Maintain accurate records to support audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Prioritise and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Assist in process improvement and documentation.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.

Desired Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

  • Reconciliation and payment processing experience is essential.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in finance, fund admin or similar.
  • Basic Excel skills (e.g., filtering, formulas).
  • Eager to learn, proactive, reliable.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on quality and service.
