Bar Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a professional to manage our bar area, ensuring efficient service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed, while promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Coordinate event setup and execution, including decorating, table settings, and other logistical tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with Liquor Licensing Act and Directors Policies, as well as RSA regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in managing a bar, restaurant, or club, preferably in a similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of liquor laws and regulations, as well as sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Approved Manager certification is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in POS/Eftpos systems.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
