Lead Bar Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Bar Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, working with a variety of people, and taking on new challenges.

About the Role:

This key leadership role involves managing the bar operations, leading a team of staff, and ensuring excellent customer service standards are met at all times. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to motivate and empower their team members, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and inventory control.
  • Supervise and lead a team of bar staff, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance customer experiences.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a bar or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of liquor licensing laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Certifications such as RSA and Approved Managers Course are highly desirable.
