About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily laboratory operations, manage staff, and ensure accurate diagnostic testing.

  • Manage laboratory operations including specimen storage, retrieval, and handling
  • Supervise staff to achieve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain records, control stock levels, and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to minimize risks
  • Promote customer confidentiality and excellent service standards

What We're Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' pathology experience with supervisory experience preferred
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, leadership qualities, and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail
  • A team-oriented mindset and commitment to achieving organisational goals
  • An initiative-driven approach to coaching and developing staff
