Job Opportunity: Centre Manager

 

At AMA Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Centre Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall operation and management of our collision repair centres.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong ability to motivate and engage their team. They will also have a proven track record in production management, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and achieving business objectives.

 

As a Centre Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the centre, including production planning, staff management and customer service.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve productivity, efficiency and quality, and to achieve business targets.
  • Managing and developing the centre's team, including recruitment, training and performance management.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and to drive business growth.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:Production Workshop Management : oversee production management of the workshop to ensure targets are achieved and vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition.
  • Quality, Quotes, Parts and Vehicle Management : ensure comprehensive and accurate quotes, QA inspections and vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition.
  • Customer Service and Stakeholder Management : provide exceptional customer service to all clients and work providers through prompt, professional and friendly interactions.
  • Profit and Loss, Reporting and Administration : prepare and review P&Ls, Budgets, Job costings, KPIs, Management Reports by utilising the tools provided to understand site performance.
  • Leadership and People Management : oversee staffing on site and ensure staffing levels and processes are in place. Proactively build and maintain positive work provider relationships.
  • Work Health and Safety (WHS) : ensure that the site remains safe by maintaining the WHS management system, all WHS policies and procedures are followed and safety incidents / near misses are immediately reported and actioned.
