We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Secure Power/APC team as an Account Director in our Sydney office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the data centre solutions strategy with the Cloud and Service Provider segment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute account plans to support existing and new customers for Schneider Electric's portfolio of products and solutions for critical data centre applications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers within nominated accounts.
- Process and analyse feasibility assessments for all bid/contract documents related to developed opportunities.
- Support internal teams with commercial advice and support, managing the flow of requests and ensuring response rates are at optimum levels.
- Articulate the business benefits and technical advantages of proposed solutions to customers.
- Assist customers in evaluating and defining their requirements and any perceived constraints.
- Degree in Engineering or Business with experience in Information systems/ICT/Data Centres in the manufacturing space.
- Ability to build long-term, customer-focused relationships.
- Solid, direct, and related sales experience highly advantageous.
- Sound commercial acumen with an enabling mindset, with the confidence to propose solutions to meet customer business needs.
- Ability to communicate differentiating elements in a simple yet convincing manner.
- Technical engineering or validation background and detailed understanding of data centre and cloud technology and key market drivers.
- Ability and willingness to work onsite with customers approximately 30% of the time.
- Influential communicator at all levels.
