About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting and advisory services to clients. This includes preparing accounts, workpapers, and financial statements, as well as assisting with budget and cash flow preparation, tax planning, and employment-related taxation matters.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, staying up-to-date with relevant legislative changes, and contributing to the development of our team's knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accounts and financial statements for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist senior staff with budget and cash flow preparation, funding applications, and management accounting reporting.
  • Provide tax planning and forecasting services to clients, including income tax return preparation and advice on taxation matters.
  • Support senior staff with employment-related taxation matters and monthly compliance obligations, such as PAYG and Fringe Benefits Tax.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be highly organized and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant qualifications and experience in accounting or a related field are essential. We require all applicants to have completed or be in the process of completing a university degree in a relevant discipline.
