About the Role

As a Production Trainee with Cement Australia, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing sites. This role involves learning and applying knowledge of production processes, safety procedures, and quality control measures.

Your Responsibilities
  • Liaise with laboratory technicians to ensure accurate testing and analysis of raw materials.
  • Support operators in the control room to understand cement mill and kiln panel operations.
  • Assist production crew members in their daily activities, contributing to process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Gain experience in dispatch and bagging, supporting the crew in the packaging and distribution of products.
  • Learn about raw material extraction at our East End Mine site and contribute to operational excellence.
About You
  • You should be trade qualified or an apprentice, with a strong foundation in numeracy and attention to detail.
  • A Year 12 completion or relevant pre-vocational qualification is also required.
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in computer software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with contractors and adapt to a flexible roster, including 12-hour shifts.
