Permanent Bitumen Tanker Operations Specialist

This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of bitumen tankers to ensure safe and efficient operation in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair bitumen tanks, burners, pumps, valves, and hydraulic components.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnose mechanical faults.
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs.
- Monitor and calibrate temperature and pressure controls.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and transport regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Mechanical and hydraulic system knowledge.
- Experience with burner systems and pipework.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Understanding of hazardous materials handling (especially hot bitumen).
- Strong safety awareness and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.
