We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to maintain and repair bitumen tankers.

About the Role

This hands-on position involves working with specialized equipment essential to road construction operations. As a reliable and safety-focused professional, you will ensure the efficient operation of bitumen tankers in various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues with tank systems, performing preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain heating system integrity, ensuring optimal temperatures during transport and unloading.
  • Carry out welding and fabrication repairs, calibrate temperature and pressure controls, and adhere to safety, environmental, and transport compliance standards.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with burner systems and pipework.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Understanding of hazardous materials handling (especially hot bitumen).
  • Strong safety awareness and PPE compliance.
