Events Coordinator

Bank of Queensland is seeking an experienced Events Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering sponsorship activations and events across all business brands, driving awareness, consideration, and acquisition across direct and broker channels.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with State Managers and Sales teams to understand their objectives and develop sponsorship and events plans aligned to this.
- Accountability for each event end-to-end, including contract negotiation, stakeholder engagement, marketing deliverables, event logistics, freight, activation, pre and post-event communications.
- Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing teams to ensure that sponsorship and event activities are aligned with both product and campaign priorities.
- Maintain and be accountable for event budgets, as well as providing regular reporting on overall events spend.
- Manage the metrics and reporting for sponsorship and event activity, as well as delivering regular reporting on overall events lead generation.
- Strong experience in event management, with a solid track record of delivering successful events.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience in building and maintaining successful relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Being exceptionally organized and having great time management skills are crucial.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities are also important.
