About the Role

This position involves managing project timelines, budgets, and quality while maintaining design integrity and client satisfaction.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Lead the delivery of architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, managing risk, coordinating consultants, and maintaining project timelines, budgets, and quality.
  • Team Development: Lead a small, high-performing team – setting clear goals, mentoring and coaching individuals, driving performance, and role modelling positive studio culture.
  • Design Excellence: Champion design quality across all phases, from concept to detailed documentation, collaborating with senior leaders and conducting key reviews to meet internal QA standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, providing clear and consistent communication, managing scope, and supporting ongoing business development opportunities.
What You Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Substantial Architectural Design experience, preferably as a qualified or registered architect, in medium to large-scale architectural projects.
  • Experience in Commercial and Education sectors preferred.
  • Strong technical acumen and contract administration experience.
  • Proven ability to manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, including full tender and lump sum project deliverables.
