Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at InfraBuild. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and programming a range of machinery, including multi-axis lathes and machining centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute CNC machining, including programming and operating machinery
  • Build skills and knowledge in machining special steels
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and provide feedback
  • Learn about safety management and contribute to a safe working environment

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to work. You will also need to hold a relevant mechanical trade qualification or be currently completing an apprenticeship.

Requirements:
  • Relevant mechanical trade qualification or currently completing an apprenticeship
  • Ability to read and understand G-Code
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Fagor Controls is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in CADCAM systems is highly desirable
