About This Role

The Education Lead drives innovation in teaching and learning, overseeing curriculum initiatives and inspiring staff to adopt new approaches. Through coaching and collaboration, they support teacher growth and foster a culture of teamwork, where challenges are met together and success is shared.

Above all, the role is student-focused, ensuring every learner is supported, challenged, and empowered to thrive.

The Education Lead will lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity, equity, and social justice.

They will work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement curriculum plans, assess student progress, and make data-driven decisions to improve teaching and learning practices.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.

The successful applicant will have a strong passion for education, a commitment to student-centered learning, and a collaborative approach to working with others.

They will be highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with the school's vision and goals.
  • Assess student progress and make data-driven decisions to improve teaching and learning practices.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement classroom programs.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to support their professional growth and development.
  • Build relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
