This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team as Assistant Director. The successful candidate will support the Centre Director in managing the daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with national regulations and fostering a positive environment.
About the Role- Leadership Support: The Assistant Director will provide leadership and guidance to educators, supporting them in delivering engaging programs that meet the needs of children.
- Operational Support: The role involves assisting with compliance, administration, and operational tasks, ensuring the smooth running of the centre.
- Relationship Building: The Assistant Director will build strong and respectful relationships with children, families, and staff, promoting a culture of inclusivity and quality care.
- Centre Leadership: In the absence of the Centre Director, the Assistant Director will take on additional responsibilities, stepping into the lead role when required.
- Culture Promotion: The successful candidate will promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to strive for excellence in their work.
- Qualifications: You will need to hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience: Previous experience in a leadership or second-in-command role within early childhood education is essential.
- Knowledge: You should have sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Passion: A passion for creating safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments is crucial for this role.
