Job Title: Audio Imager

We are looking for a skilled audio imager to join our team. As an audio imager, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sound designs and recordings that bring our podcasts to life.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience using AVID Pro Tools and possess excellent skills in recording, monitoring, and playback. They will also be able to confidently direct voice over sessions and coach talent in presentation and delivery techniques.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who is extremely organized, can work well in a team, and has a passion for problem-solving. Our successful candidate will be agile enough to jump on projects at a moment's notice and have the ability to create complex scene and sound designs.

Required qualifications include:

  • Several examples of podcasts with complex narrative sound design.
  • Extensive experience using AVID Pro Tools.
  • The ability to confidently direct voice over sessions and coach talent in presentation and delivery techniques.
  • An understanding of in- and out-of-studio basics, including microphone placement, recording, monitoring, and playback.
  • Script writing and music composition skills encouraged.

Other desired qualifications include:

  • Experience in immersive sound design and Dolby Atmos.
  • Extreme organizational skills when it comes to asset management and time management.
  • Confidence in pitching new ideas to make our podcasts stand out.
  • Ability to work well in a team and be agile enough to jump on projects at a moment's notice.
  • Passion for problem-solving and being a pioneer in an emerging industry.
  • Knowledge of legal and copyright complexities of audio content creation.
