Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and customer-focused driver to join our team as a medium rigid truck driver.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport general freight to support various branches and communities with exceptional customer service.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, including pre-start checks, run sheets, PODs, and logbooks, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Utilize IT platforms such as PDAs to scan freight and capture live signatures, ensuring efficient and secure transactions.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, including opening and closing gates, and pulling curtains, with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to established standards, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure smooth and accurate deliveries.
  • Maintain a steady and methodical pace to produce high-quality work output.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the transport industry or previous truck driving experience (desired).
  • Hold a current Medium Rigid Truck License (Manual 'B' condition preferred).
  • OR licensed HR driver with some MR/LR driving experience.
  • Current Forklift License and experience (desired).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical check, including a drug and alcohol screen.
  • Ability to complete a Criminal History Check upon successful interview stage.
