The role of a Local Driver involves transporting general freight to support the community with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport general freight to support the community with excellent customer service
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including pre-start checks and logbooks
  • Utilize platforms to scan freight and capture signatures
  • Perform manual handling tasks
  • Follow established standards and safety regulations to ensure smooth deliveries
  • Work at a steady pace to maintain accuracy and quality work output
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the transport industry or truck driving (desirable)
  • Hold a current Medium Rigid Truck License (Manual ' B' condition preferred)
  • OR licensed HR Driver with MR/LR driving experience
  • Current Forklift License and experience (desirable)
  • Ability to pass a medical check, including a drug and alcohol screen
  • Ability to complete a Criminal History Check (upon successful interview stage)
  • A professional mindset with accountability and commitment to meeting goals
  • Ability to work consistently with attention to detail and repetitive routines
  • Ability to collaborate with peers and management to ensure efficient work
