Full Time
role would suit a customer focused and self-driven operator with a passion for delivering no matter the obstacle.

The Job

  • Flexible with working varied hours, including weekends and overtime with penalty rates 07:00 - 15:06
  • Work to deliver high levels of service to our customers through effectively transporting general freight supporting the Cairns community
  • Take responsibility for safely and securely loading and unloading a variety of freight with some manual handling of parcel freight
  • Completing daily vehicle inspections and necessary paperwork including pre-start checks as well as filling out run sheets, PODs and logbooks

Qualifications

  • Hold a current C class (Manual) license with proven experience operating a Vehicle to complete multiple deliveries or similar Customer Service based role for a minimum of 2 years
  • A strong level of resilience and ability to problem solve coupled with the capability to work within a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Have a passion for going the extra mile to provide high level service to all our customers
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen, as well as a criminal history check if required
