About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and coordinating primary health care services to communities, including those in remote locations. Key aspects of this role include:

  • Provision of nursing services encompassing emergency care, chronic disease management, child health, immunisation, health promotion, and education.

This position requires a strong commitment to modelling organisational values, safety, and quality improvement. The occupant must also demonstrate effective leadership skills, extensive clinical experience, and knowledge of primary health care principles and programs.

Key Requirements
  • Effective leadership skills, including organisational, supervisory, caseload management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive clinical experience, including assessment skills, triage, and emergency management skills.
  • Knowledge and application of primary health care principles and programs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a cross-cultural setting.

Salary and Benefits
