About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant/Disability Support Worker to join our team at Conexson. As a Personal Care Assistant/Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and communication.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a safe and respectful work environment, adhering to Conexson's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card (DSW Mandatory)
- Blue Card preferred
- Certificate III or Paid Experience (will change according to the role being advertised)
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Driver's license and reliable transport preferred
- Fully COVID vaccinated as per QLD Health Regulations
- Flu Vaccination PCA Mandatory
- Valid rights to work in Australia (Passport, Birth Cert., etc.)
- Manual Handling Training and Hoist experience
