About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Endeavour Foundation. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their homes and in the community
  • Help individuals to achieve their NDIS goals and develop important daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting
  • Assist with aspects of personal care where required to meet the individual needs of the people we support
  • Support with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connection by socialising and going on outings
  • Provide support during daily activities such as going for a walk, going to the movies, or accompanying to an appointment
  • Help individuals to maintain a connection to their family, friends, and services

Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to privacy and confidentiality
