Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Endeavour Foundation. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position available in Maryborough, QLD. You will be working in our Home Service, providing support to individuals with disabilities to live as independently as possible. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting individuals with daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting
  • Providing support with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connection
  • Accompanying individuals to appointments and activities
  • Helping individuals maintain a connection to their family, friends, and services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
  • The capacity to meet the physical requirements of the role
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
