Job Title: Clinical Haematologist

The Department of Clinical Haematology provides services for a wide range of haematological conditions in various settings. Apheresis and cellular therapies are also part of the service.

Clinical Haematology sits within Austin Health's Division of Medical Services, as part of Austin Health's Cancer Wellness and Research Centre.

About the Role:

This role requires qualified clinical haematologists to cover senior medical staff on leave within the Department of Clinical Haematology.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to bring:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • A Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians or equivalent qualification
  • Appropriate training and experience relevant to Clinical Haematology
  • A commitment to high-quality patient care
  • Excellent teamwork skills to work collaboratively with peer medical, junior medical, nursing, and other clinical staff to deliver safe and efficient care across the continuum
  • A commitment to teaching, training, and research
