About the Role

Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Vac Truck Operator to join our Water/Civil Projects team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating vacuum excavation plant, maintaining and operating safe, clean, and secure plant and equipment, and performing general laboring duties on civil works projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate vacuum excavation plant and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain and operate plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Perform general laboring duties on civil works projects as required
  • Assist in additional aspects of construction as required

Requirements

  • White Card and HR open driver's license at a minimum
  • Experience in operating large vacuum excavation plant (min 3 years) with a demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and provide solutions to routine on-site problems
  • A good understanding of the day-to-day maintenance required for designated machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret utility plans for service location purposes and to mark up plans and communicate service conflict locations to project leads
