About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and service-oriented Food and Beverage Attendant to join our award-winning team at Stamford Grand Adelaide on a casual or part-time basis.

The Stamford Grand Adelaide is one of Adelaide's premier beachside resorts located in Glenelg, offering a vibrant shopping strip and access to the hotel's 220 luxury rooms and resort-style facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to all guests, upholding Stamford Grand Adelaide's service standards and ensuring immediate guest acknowledgement via verbal greeting paired with a warm smile.
  • Assist with floor plan and cleanliness requirements prior to meal service, including table, banquet, and buffet set up and clearance.
  • Memorise menu items, offer guests educated food pairing suggestions, upsell products, and cater to guests with dietary requests.
  • Manage guests' food orders and work with a team of chefs, managers, and other food and beverage attendants to ensure guests have a positive experience.
  • Display empathy and kindness to all internal and external guests.
About You

You will have a bright, energetic attitude, hold a current RSA and Food Handlers Certificate, and possess:

  • Cocktail, beer, wine, and spirit knowledge (desirable).
  • A positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
  • The ability to build rapport with guests, creating an unforgettable experience.
  • A high level of personal presentation and grooming.
  • Flexibility to work various rostered shifts over a seven-day roster.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Food and Beverage Attendant.
  • Australian working rights.
