This is an exciting opportunity to join the Catering Team at Caboolture Private Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Australia. As a Hospital Chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality food production and cleanliness in the hospital kitchen.

• Cold Larder Preparation and Handling of Food: Prepare and handle food in the cold larder, ensuring that it is stored and handled safely.
• Preparation and Cooking of Meals: Prepare and cook meals for patients, staff, and functions, adhering to the hospital's food safety plan and relevant HACCP standards.
• Understanding of Patient Dietary Requirements: Ensure that patient dietary requirements are met, including catering to a wide variety of sensitive dietary needs.
• Ensuring a Clean Environment: Maintain a clean and safe environment in the kitchen, adhering to the hospital's cleanliness standards.
• Wash and Clean Downs of Equipment: Ensure that all equipment is washed and cleaned regularly, adhering to the hospital's cleaning protocols.
• Daily Completion of Food and Safety Log Sheets: Complete daily log sheets to record food production and safety activities.
• Compliance with Food Safety and HACCP: Ensure that all food safety and HACCP protocols are adhered to, including ordering food and supplies and maintaining stock rotation.

• Certificate in Commercial Cooking: Hold a certificate in commercial cooking or equivalent experience.
• Ability to Cater to a Wide Variety of Dietary Requirements: Be able to cater to a wide variety of sensitive dietary needs, including allergy management practices.
• Excellent Work Ethic, Customer Service Skills, Time Management Skills, and Ability to Work in a Team Environment: Demonstrate excellent work ethic, customer service skills, time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
