We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hospital Chef to join our Catering Team at Caboolture Private Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality hospital food production and cleanliness are maintained.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate in Commercial Cooking and be able to cater to a wide variety of sensitive dietary requirements. They will also have a thorough understanding of allergy management practices and excellent work ethic, customer service skills, time management skills, and the ability to successfully work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold Larder Preparation and handling of food
  • Preparation & Cooking of meals
  • Understanding of patient dietary requirements
  • Ensuring a clean environment is maintained
  • Wash & clean downs of equipment
  • Daily completion of food and safety log sheets
  • Compliance with food safety & HACCP
  • Ordering of food & supplies
  • Stock rotation
