About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Catering Team at Caboolture Private Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Australia. As a Hospital Chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for patients, staff, and visitors in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP and Food Safety Plan.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies, maintaining accurate records and stock rotation.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other team members to achieve high-quality food production and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the patient experience.
Requirements
  • Certificate in Commercial Cooking or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
