Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Analyst to support our investigations through the delivery of vital intelligence products. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will work autonomously with minimal direction to deliver quality support to investigative areas that address specific operational requirements.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and maintain advanced currency in the application of a range of analytical methodologies such as discovery analysis, statistical analysis, anomaly analysis, and trend analysis to address specific investigative requirements or intelligence gaps.

You will demonstrate extensive technical knowledge, applied tradecraft and professional decision making in relevant domains to deliver problem-focused solutions in response to operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide close operational support in electronic surveillance analysis as directed by the Team Leader and operations teams, in line with AFP priorities.
  • Maintain advanced currency in the application of a range of analytical methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Australian Citizen at the time of application.
  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • To have completed the Electronic Surveillance Analyst Foundations course or the ability to attain within 6 months of commencement.
  • Ability to successfully complete an annual psychological screening specific to this position.
