Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Retail Space Designer to join our team in shaping the physical brand experience across Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia. As a key member of our design team, you will play a pivotal role in bringing stores to life through innovative, customer-focused design.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stores are smart, functional, and future-focused. This role suits someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about designing spaces that inspire customers and elevate the brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run design projects within APAC territory, taking projects from brief through to completion
  • Ongoing development of store designs specific to the assigned territory
  • Liaise with key stakeholders at varying stages of projects, working with internal departments
  • Attend site meetings, discuss design with the project delivery team, check surveys and record site information
  • Set up drawings in AutoCAD using landlord or survey information ensuring accuracy
  • Space plan merchandise layouts using a design brief and option targets
  • Produce full Construction Drawing Packs including detailed plans, shop fronts, sections and elevations
  • Support the project management team with drawing requirements for council approvals and building certifications
  • Partner with the graphics team to deliver project-specific designs
  • Maintain organised project files, design libraries and documentation
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years' experience in a retail design role or working within a design team
  • Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or other relevant qualification
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD with working knowledge of dynamic blocks
  • Experience with large-format retail and/or international brand environments preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience using Revit is desirable
  • Visual rendering and 3D modelling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong retail and commercial awareness
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
